Welcoming a new puppy into your home is a big commitment, requiring lots of time and attention – they are constantly learning about the world around them.  It's vital that puppies are gently introduced to new things at a young age, so they learn not to be afraid.  It's also really important to set your puppy up for success, by teaching good manners in a fun and positive way. 

You can help your puppy to settle happily into your home life and avoid problem behaviours in the future.  Training together is a great way to build a trusting relationship and it's never too early to start.

Home visits cover invaluable foundation training, helping you and your puppy to understand and communicate with each other.  We tailor the sessions to you and your puppy, for example - how to puppy-proof your home, biting/mouthing/chewing, toilet training, settling calmly, focusing on you, enrichment, safety around children and much more.  These sessions are helpful alongside classes, or if you can't attend a course.

There will be plenty of time for you to ask questions and you'll receive a goodie bag, helpful handouts and email/telephone support for the duration of your training.

*Handler's Training Workshop – these are held frequently at our venue in Dunfermline.  Join other pawrents for an informal session focusing on how dogs learn and how we can teach them effectively, with lots of fun games to help you practise your training skills.  This event is included in the Puppy & Lifeskills Courses, Gold Package or can be booked separately.  We highly recommend attending this workshop!
