My mission:
To help you and your dog understand each other, enjoy training together and make life easier and more fun for everyone.
A little about me
I’ve shared my life with dogs of different ages, breeds and abilities — from bouncy puppies to wonderful seniors!
Along the way, I’ve worked through a wide range of training and behaviour challenges, as well as supporting dogs emotional wellbeing through illness and injury.
My approach is simple:
Effective, reinforcement-based training that strengthens relationships and sets dogs up for success.
To keep my skills sharp and my knowledge current, I regularly attend seminars and practical workshops with leaders in the field. It's important to keep my learning fresh and deepen my understanding of how dogs think, problem-solve and communicate.
I also continue to learn with my own dog, enjoying everything from trick training and Rally, to Hoopers, scentwork, mantrailing, tracking and truffle hunting.

Life at home
My Flat Coated Retriever, Corrie, keeps me entertained with her big personality and firm belief that she’s still a puppy. She fills my days with laughter, fun and plenty of training inspiration.
My precious Isla, who recently passed away at 12 years old, was a training dream dog - incredibly quick to learn and super smart. She taught me more about sensitive dogs than any textbook ever could ... always my shining North Star.

When lockdown hit in 2020 and classes were cancelled overnight, we stepped up and helped Corryisle go online!
We're always eager to learn, love anything involving food or toys and bring our huge personalities to every training video.
You'll also spot many of our wonderful client's dogs, helping demonstrate real-life training in action.
