Fun & focus for challenging adolescents,

newly-adopted dogs or

those who missed foundation training

For dogs over 5 months old

Adolescent dogs can find it difficult to concentrate and sometimes appear to have forgotten everything they learned as a puppy!  They may act more independently at times and then suddenly seem wary of things that used to be ok.

Newly adopted dogs can find it challenging to settle in their new home.

And dogs who have missed early training can behave in ways that we find problematic.  It's best to remain calm and patient with your dog, guiding them in a fun and positive way - training together is a great way to build a trusting relationship.

Our premium Bright Paws Course focuses on strengthening your connection with your dog and teaching lifeskills, including walking with a loose lead and coming back to you when called.  We also cover mental stimulation & enrichment – encouraging calm, happy dogs.

  • Six in-person classes

  • Additional video tutorials

  • Helpful, printable training guides

  • Homework training plans

  • Small numbers for individual support

  • Goodie bag

  • Certificate & rosette on completion of the course

All family members are welcome to come along to the training classes (for under 8-year-olds, please bring someone to look after them, so you can concentrate on your dog).

Classes are mainly held indoors, with some outdoor training (weather dependent).

Note:  these classes are not suitable for dogs that are over-reactive towards people or other dogs (either appearing worried or uncontrollably excited).  For these issues, we initially recommend 1-2-1 training.  If you are in any doubt, please contact us to discuss.

"I thought the classes were excellent.  Not only does Elaine give you tips to train your dog, the best tips trained ME how to treat my dog.  There is no yanking leads or making your dog do things they don't want to do.  They showed me how to communicate with Ellie so she wanted to learn with this reward-oriented class"
