Training & Cancellation Policy

  • We welcome clients and dogs from all backgrounds.

  • All training is ethical and reward-based.

  • Training success requires realistic expectations and regular practise.

  • Let us know if your dog has any medical, behavioural or dietary issues. 

  • Handlers are responsible for their dogs at all times.

  • Please contact us with any questions.

Training

We use reward-based, motivational methods and positive associations

​

  • We will help you set realistic goals and support your commitment to regular training.

​

  • We do not use or condone verbal or physical punishment or intimidation.

​

  • Retractable, slip and chain leads should not be used for safety reasons. 

​​

  • The following equipment is not permitted at any event:  choke/check chains, prong/pinch collars, electric shock collars, rattle bottles, water pistols or other aversive tools.  

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans can change, and we'll always try to be fair and helpful

​​

  • Courses & events - if you need to cancel before the first session, let us know immediately.  If we can fill your place, you will be refunded, minus Stripe fees and any digital resources already provided.

​

  • Refunds can't be given once a course has started.​​​

​​

  • 1-2-1 appointments - If you are unable to attend, please contact us and we will reschedule where possible.

​​

  • Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the session may be forfeited.

​​

  • If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a reschedule or a full refund.

Safety

To keep all dogs and handlers safe

​

  • Please do not interact with another dog, without their guardian’s consent.

​

  • If you have symptoms of an infectious illness, do not attend training and let us know immediately.  Current Government health guidance will be followed.

​​

  • Injured, recovering or in-season dogs should only attend with your vet's confirmation.

​

  • Training locations may vary in accessibility, so please contact us in advance to discuss individual needs and ensure training can take place safely.

  • ​Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Children

Children are very welcome at our events

​

  • Under-16's must be accompanied by an adult. 

​

  • Children under 8 should have an additional supervising adult.

Photography

We love celebrating your dog's progress and achievements!

​

  • Photos and videos taken at training may be posted on our website, Facebook page or used in training resources.

​​

  • Tell us if you prefer not to be included - we will always respect your wishes. 

​

  • Please ask permission before taking photos or videos that include other clients or dogs.
